Guidelines of Hope Center of Seattle in Capitol Hill

Hope Center of Seattle GuidelinesThe main purpose for these guidelines is to help create a safe and healthy environment for those who desire, or are leaning towards, the desire for change to place in their life.

Please be aware these guidelines have not been finalized.

Guidelines
:
HCS is not a drug or alcohol detox facility. While clients entering the Center may show some signs of inebriation or drug abuse, we will not allow them to enter or remain in the facility if the HCS on-duty manager determines, on a subjective basis, that the person is in need of detoxification at a city detox center.

Part of the creation of a healthy environment is cleanliness. Each visitor is expected to keep the area they are occupying clean. They are not to leave any beverages, food, or other items at the location when they leave.

Drug use in the bathrooms will absolutely not be tolerated. Individuals who violate this policy may be permanently banned from using the Hope Center of Seattle. Individuals may be required to check in coats, hats, bags and purses before entering bathrooms to limit potential drug use.

Individuals will not be allowed to use the bathrooms to 'take baths' unless authorized by the manager on duty.

Every visitor is expected to treat other visitors with respect and dignity.

Vulgarity and obnoxious, loud, inconsiderate, derogatory, racist and otherwise disruptive behavior is prohibited. The Center on-duty manger reserves the right to order people to leave the facility.

The Hope Center of Seattle is not a ‘flop house’ or a ‘drop-in center’ per se. We are a place where individuals may come for a few hours to get away from the hustle and bustle of life, to get refreshed, have a cup of coffee, to receive counsel or social services. We are not designed as a location where individuals can come to take naps or sleep, to ‘come down’ from drugs, or to escape from law enforcement.

Failure to comply with the above guidelines will lead to disciplinary action which may include being removed from the premises to being banned from the premises forever. The implementation of these guidelines is at the sole discretion of the manager on duty.

Any complaints of the handling of a situation may be discussed with the Hope Center of Seattle Manager by scheduling a phone appointment. Call ----- during regular business hours.
